About the Event

CHAINS: Is designed to support professional chaperones when working with scenes involving close contact and intimacy with U18's.  

During the session we will: 

  • Learn about the differences between intimacy and close contact and where risk is attached
  • Explore the role of the IC 
  • Discuss the Ofcom code
  • Cover PENS - understanding how to recognise possible signs of child abuse
  • Explore the chaperones role when supporting IC's and how to mitigate risk during scenes
  • Review together a group of short video clips of scences and explore scenarios to generate discussions 
  • Explore how to practically record and keep your adherence to safeguarding and regulatory compliance
