P-A-R-T is a City & Guilds accredited course offering a practical guide whilst bridging the gaps between the DfE Child Performance Regulations and the production process. Bursaries support is also available for industry courses from BECTU and Screenskills.

About the Event
This course dives into the  journey children will travel through on a production and focuses on supporting crew through the challenges they will face, whilst ensuring their safeguarding along with the children's.  We out line the crucial roles that professional chaperones and tutors undertake and where they fit into production as part of the AD Team support by understaning the produciton process.
The course is designed and delivered by those who have worked in production and understand the commitment to detail that is required by a production when licensing children.
Course content:
- Where risk is attached between casting brief to wrap
- What is a regulated activity
- The role of the DSL (Designated Safeguarding Lead), Safeguarding and the Ofcom code
- Types of child licences including International licences
- Preparing for council spot checks
- Performance time management in line with permitted hours
- Parents, Loco Parentis -V- Chaperones and Tutors
- Creating an audit trail to evidence your safeguarding
- Check list: facilities and policies
- Education, aggregating tutor hoursÂ
- Working with 16-18's
- Intimacy and close contact within scripts
- Working with agents and commission
- The role of Professional Chaperones and Tutors
- Scenario's and 2 group assessment papers
City & Guilds Certifications last for 3 years and support your CPS and CV's.
Learners will have access during this period to our online forms and gudies to use whilst at work.
